Hi,
I've got the livewriter to sucessfully update the texthtml moduke on the dnn site. However, if I add a second livewriter account, to update a different texthtml module on the same site (so dnn username/password the same, ony the sid changes), whenever I update the second texthtml module using this second account, it updates the first texthtml module, from the original account.
Is there a limit of 1 livewriter account per site and it always defaults to the first created?
Am I missing something very basic here?
Any help appreciated,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,
In your case, you should only need a single text/html account. This will give the user access to every text/html module in the site to which they have edit access. The sid is only used for style detection and the only reason a single use would need to create more than one WLW account with a different sid would be if they needed to show the styles from a text/html control that appeared in a different container with a different style. For example, if my site contains two columns, one main column on the right which is 600px wide and one nav column on the left which is 200px wide, I may want to create two accounts: one which picks up the 600px width style and one which picks up the 200px width style.
Thanks,
Don

Hi Don,
Thanks for the clarification, I was under the wrong impression that a separate LW account had to be set up for each TextHtml module, using the sid of the module. I got somewhat confused having set up several texthtml modules for several accounts on the same site.
A small thing:
As edit access is required for the user to update the texthtml module from livewriter, when that user is directly logged onto the site, they have the possibility to edit the texthtml module itself as the View/Edit radio buttons appear at the top of the page. Is there any way to stop this happening, to effectively force the user to only use LW to update the module?
Thanks for the help,
Anthony
