compatible with Active Directory Provider 5.0.2?
Hello. I am sure glad I got metaPost working on my personal site. It is going to help me a lot.
Now I also have a 5.x DNN site at work, an intranet, and we are authenticating via Active Directory Provider 5.0.2. Being new to WLW and metaPost I was eager to try it here but after searching around a bit I am not so sure its going to work.
Is Windows Live Writer and metaPost compatible with DNN Active Directory Provider 5.0.2?

Re: compatible with Active Directory Provider 5.0.2?
Hi Doxey,
It worked prior to DNN 5, but this was because the Active Directory provider maintained the usernames and passwords in a way that supported both forms based and active directory authentication. Users have reported that Active Directory authentication does not work with the Active Directory provider 5.0.2. A workaround that I recall from another user was to have the Active Directory users provision an account in another environment where they used the same username and password as that used by their Active Directory account. The salt and password were then copied to the portal where Active Directory integration had been configured. Of course, this would only work in environments where the passwords are changed infrequently.
When I have the chance, I plan to take a look at this situation and see if there is a workaround.
Thanks,
Don
